Emily Jane Young is the Co-Founder and former Artistic Director of Word Portland. She teaches creative writing in Portland Maine, independently and through the Maine College of Art. She has an MFA in fiction writing from Stonecoast, and a BFA in writing from the University of Maine at Farmington. When she isn't writing, she's performing improv comedy as part of Turkey Club.
