Adventure . An extra large, pale gray mug describes a creature embarking on a grand Adventure, climbing past the curly clouds and up into the sky.
Alf . An extra terrestrial, and an aloof alef. She's worn her belt a little too tight all her life, but she'll shrug it off if you point it out.
Alice . A mandarine orange slice dipped in pancake batter and coal dust; a bubble paw print; a generous bottom. This list of my favorite mugs is long, but this one is on it.
Amber . An acid trip that is extremely fun to drink out of. Amber's got sweeping, fractalling jewel tones, a peppering of blue freckles. You'll see something different on her every time. No handle, but loose enough back wrinkles to rest on your finger.
Anders . Anders is small and blue with carefully coiffed side-rim and a little bit of stank-lip. Her glaze ripples, drips, and shimmers. She's got enough attitude for the whole party.
Angela . Half lavender, half cream-spotted copper, behold, Angela is shaped to hold and be held.
Angler . Some sort of chimera. I meant to add bird wings, and it was a happy accident that the handle looks like a tail. All put together it feels somehow aquatic.
Annie . Annie's peachy grooves were created by dripping wax up from the bottom. A white skim of glaze describes the fjords in her red middle.
Apple .
Apricot . This friend is a small polite mug with a sturdy, spoonish handle. The biggest handle I could attach to her without it starting to feel weird. Modest autumn tones on the outside, bright orange inside.
Aris . Aris dipped her chin in the milk but she's still smug AF. Big Purple Energy.
Arugula .
Asiago .
Avary . Inspired by my bird crew in Portland, Maine WHAT IS UP MY BIRDS??
Avo . She's almost let whimsy go to her head, but she's still got some sense of practicality for now.
Baby . This mug is just a little baby in the same way an egg reminds you of the blank perfection of youth.
Barry . Barry is a tiny galaxy contained in a sturdy and accessible cup for those who would hate to spill their galaxy.
Beetle . Think about traveling the world riding a beetle. Not the car. A beetle.
Belly . The biggest mug I've made, with roundness and flair to boot! Perfect for hydrating or storing more reasonably sized mug.
Bette . Bette wears the bright colors to show off her shape and her fancy, low-cut handle. It's not for you though, it's for her.
Bevan . Bevan went for a simple white shirt and jeans today but he still thinks he looks sharp. This one's made for cradling.
Bey . A smart friend of mine said this mug is all the tides at once, and that friend was correct.
Bingo . Bingo is curious and hopeful. He had a scratch on his face, but it's healing. Hold the handle, or hold onto his wings if you like. He trusts you.
Birch . Have you ever met someone who is thriving, but you can tell there was a moment in their past when they cracked? Birch's crack happened while she was still cooking, and I expect her to live her best life containing liquids for years to come.
Bluebeard . Bluebeard, red with blood, is know for murdering his wives. A handsome mug to be sure, though. Just don't marry him; use him to hold a good amount of coffee instead.
Bluet . A delicate, star-shaped autumn flower, an electric damsel fly, a collection of poetry, a drippy faced, proud-handled mug.
Bohree .
Brain . Brain is monstrous, in size as well as in form. They are the largest drinking vessel I've made, with a solid yet slightly asymmetrical structure that says "holy cow, this mug I'm making is almost too big to handle!" Half creature-green, half brain-colored with brain texture. The perfect gift for your biggest-brained friend (even if that friend is yourself, know-it-all).
Brie
Brigetta . This cup changes color when filled with warm liquids. Just kidding! Brigetta is little and strong and a convincing liar, just like a shot decaf espresso, or that moth that looks like a snake.
Bright . Bright is at once blindingly shiny and super matte. Pairs well with sticky buns and striped sweaters, Carries herself low to sit on the couch with you without tipping.
Brother .
Bubles . This gal is cheery and creamy-colored, cereal-bowl sized and deep for less milk-spillage. She's got some bubbly-textured pink ooze over one side - feel free to use your imagination about that. 14 oz
Bug . It's a bug! Shiny black one. Humanish eyes, but no lids. Only one leg, connected at both ends. No feet. Looks concerned. Hope he's okay.
Bulb . It's spring! Time to plant this Bulb in your kitchen, feed him with coffee, and he'll root for you <3
Burst . Burst is all worm and galaxy. You can get lost in the chemical reactions on her insides.
Butter . Whip it, smooth it, mix it, salt it. It improves. It elevates. Its presence pleasants.
Butterfly .
Calla . 22 oz
Calm .
Cameo . A god sneezed a collar on the shoulders of my Cameo. He wasn't white and fluffy, he just had sideburns.
Cameron . Cameron is the cool kid. A wide cylinder with casual crossed handles, glaze that divots and bumps to the bottom, little moutainscape inside. Don't let the handle(s) fool you, and easy-drinking favorite.
Candace .
Canelia . I stopped this one before she spun out, but Canelia is a wild one, matte with uneven textured spots, a twist, handle tucked in to her bowl.
Cantine .
Cantine broke in a fall. RIP Cantine. |
Calvert .
Caramel . Caramel goes all out! Jewel tones and neutrals, the roundest shape for max capac, so extra it’s dripping down the side.
Carbon .
Cat . This little mug won't give up the ghost. Buy this mug to scare your friends - she clearly has lots to say.
Cellophane . Smooth as she is, Cellophane hits those facets of iridescence from the unicorn birthday party in your dreams.
Chap . Chap is a petite and delicate little man, but he can do that trick where he rolls his tongue into a "w" shape - can you?
Charlyn .
Charlotte . Get it? Charlotte's Web? Looks like Charlotte has decided to build her a set of new webs amongst the abandoned cobwebs of her ancestors. This mug features a handle that is tight to the body and a prominent foot. It may give you a fright to drink out of, but you'll be rewarded with a jolly little spiral at the bottom when you're finished.
Charm . The shininess on Charm's insides is out of control. Admire his full, baskety hips. That thick handle. That look in his eyes that speaks of possibility. Run away together - or hang around together. Charm is up for it.
Chelly . Chilly chelly is a swirl-bottomed, side-grooved, dark-oozed little friend for dark and complex nights, for dark and complex knights.
Chelsea . Here is one who would have liked to have a handle, but we don't all get what we wish for do we? She's celebratory and generous. Chelsea is a goblet. Please gobble.
Chesh . You know the legend. The coffee disappears but the grin remains.
Chime . Chime is a love story and a triumph against odds story.
Chloe . Little buddy had to have some uneven bits ground off her bottom (don't we all sometimes?" but in the end she's a beaut. Dig her velvet rivulets and landscapes, the glassy glossy bright blues and yellows inside.
Chloris . Chloris is a fancy, round lady with a mountainous bib and sweet lil pig’s tail handle. She oozes elegance without being pretentious.
Christine . Christine has lots of textures and nuances of color to speak of, and also every handle. Can't decide where you like to hold? No problem, this is every handle. Too many you say? No such thing! I dipped her in the glaze past my fingers and it left a fun design, I think.
Cilantro . Her contents are either zingy and delicious, or taste like soap (I've heard it's genetic). Luckily she's large enough to do the laundry in if that's how it's gotta be.
Cindamom . This lil friend brings to mind AT LEAST two spices, maybe a whole spice rack, and portmanteaus. Any beverage served in this sexy sphere will be complex, even water.
Clarissa . Feminine and dappled, Clarissa crosses her handles like you cross your fingers, like you cross your arms, like you cross your legs, like you cross the street.
Claude . Monet Money Monaaaaay
Claudia . Claudia's stout roundness holds a lot, and her glaze speaks the rich green and purple languages of the forest floor, while being chocolate-dipped.
Cleet . This mug is how your skin feels when you mix bumbleberry jam into your bubble bath.
Clime . With two handles and a set of wings, you can clime anything.
Clutch . On this wee teacup, you can see the ghost of my fingers where I clutched the bottom of the cup to dip into the second color of glaze. Hold it in the same place as me and see if our fingers match.
Cohlie .
Constance . If you've always been uneasy about the idea of someone watching over you, this mug certainly won't help.
Courtney . Courtney is blonde-to-gold, with water-blue glaze that fills in what used to be gentle curves along her mid-section. She loves especially that time of year when almost all the leaves are gone, but the larch, poplar, and ginkgo hold onto their yellows
Coy . Coy boi is glad you all like him so much, but he'd still rather eat his scraps on the porch and then leave, thanks.
Crai Bebe . Tug on her ears and drink out of the top of her head. She cries whether you do it or not.
Crematu . This is like a little burlap sack to plop your latte into.
Crescent . Crescent fresh, crescent moon, crescent beach, crescent roll. A peaceful coffee-shaped cup, wide enough to dunk some of the above.
Crush . Give this to your crush. Tell them it is a mug named "Crush" and has an impressive capacity. Maybe point out the flirtatious handle. Who knows?
Cumulo . Pensive little cup has a lot to think about - textural spots where the glazes merge, small patches where the bare clay displays at the surface, drips and smudges; she was made for sipping milky tea by the sea on a cloudy day.
Curt . Curt supports you all they way but secretly can't believe what you are about to do.
Cuttle .
Daisy . Imagine I took an ancient marble made of sand and surf, attached a little inchworm to it, named it after a Duke, and magnified it. For art.
Danish . A best friend scoops a lump of wave-moistened sand and hucks it at you, and this cup is made from that patch of beach at that moment.
Darling . Darling is the squattest mug I've made to date. She's fat-bottomed and reliable, and wearing her 1970's kitchenware best. She does have a bit of s-crack on her bottom, but is nonetheless sealed and resilient (and food-safe), just don't take her from hot to cold temperatures too quickly.
Darnell .
Dawna . See the buttery filigree of finger drips, coils, and sediment settlement. We didn't invent these shapes.
Dino . Simple and sweet, Dino sits on a weather-worn porch and waits for the dew.
Discape . A dark sponge haunted by gravity, let Discape be the little hourglass of your discontent - linger in the feeling, but only for this long.
Divot . The wary former center of the world's largest rubber band ball, ancient but adventurous, ready to contain rather than be contained.
Dnc Prty .
Dorothy . Dorothy is a pale blue, delicate teacup shyly crinkled at the rim.
Drolly .
Drop . The sassiness of their handle, their drop shape, their flirtatious bubbles, make me assume that whatever’s inside is c a n d y.
Doublet .
