Paige .
Palace . This guys's name implies an elegance of sorts, but I can help thinking his ears stick out pretty comically and it looks like he's got a nose bleed. Oh dear.
Paleo . As feeble as old stone, but not in the way you think.
Pastry .
Patte . A cutie roundie that's half matte cranberry, half straight corrosion (food safe though, I swear!)
Peal . Delicate bowl with chunky handle, handles like a passing storm cloud, peals like a bell, and the fruit inside is what you make of it.
Pebble . Pebble is not a real stone, but the kind of chocolate nugget that's dipped in a bright coating to look like a stone.
Pensa . This mug is sturdy and peaceful, and has Georgia on his mind.
Perf . Carved from eyeshadow, toast, and ancient rocks, this teeny pal was designed after one perfect evening. This cup - bowl? (drinking bowl?) - brings you back to the see.
Persephone . Her is Persephone, fresh from the underworld, dripping in decaying foliage. She's a creepy little mug, with a dark body and nip of a handle, but excellent for hot or cold beverages.
Petal . This little pitcher looks like she's made of a very pale pink rose from last week. Her edge is a little raggedy and beginning to brown, but she's still beautiful and game to cold your milk (or whatever you want to put in a pitcher). Please note, she has an "s" crack on her bottom, which is something that happened in her first firing. It's sealed with glaze, so she's food safe, but I wouldn't get her too hot.
Phend . Your cool 70s dad, unique but chill about it, handy and sepia toned.
Philip . Philip isn't plain, he's a pale prism of patience, so sit awhile.
Phlet . Phlet is a perfect between-friend, a transitory mug to stare at in your own liminal spaces, because he's both.
Phlute . Whoops! I dropped a rainbow down this little green throat. See if you can fish it out for me, will you?
Pinepoint . Smooth, vast, contemplative like our favorite beach at low tide. Waxy lollipop stick of handle (but clean!), bowl-shaped to hold all.
Piper . Piper is a glorious THING of feathers and merengue.
Phluph . Peanut butter smoothy, caramel-colored mustache when you take a sip, the cup clutched so tightly you leave finger marks, the sugar seeping over the rim to the floor.
Plink . Hold her little sun-toasted handles. Press her perfect thumbprint of beauty mark.
Pocket .
Pond . Little wine cup like peering into the depths of a body filled with sweets, static, and the pleasantest of oozes.
Poole . Poole is pale-purple, with hidden depths of blue. She's matte and gloss. She's contemplative and capacious. Sip and gaze with her.
Porchine . This sweet stripey beauty is like seven shades of purple and twizzels nicely around the thumb.
Portia . A bud vase. Black and blue but in a nice way, in her overcoat wrapped up tight, ready for a modest display. 4 oz liquid capacity.
Poseidon .
Pout .
Prism . Every day is rainbow cup day. Yes! Yes! Yes!
Priz . A hefty yet sweet mug, she reminds me of the sun streaming through a cloud and glancing off a pillowy shredded wheat biscuit.
Prom . A bold combination of endangered poplar and 1990s party dress, specially fused together with glaze stalactites. Drink responsibly.
Pspsps . Something in the way she meows attracts me like no other tumbler. Something in the way she's meowy...
Purl . Purl loves cheese. See the naked want in her eye? Don't leave this bulbous little munchtime buddy hangin! Give her some of that cheese!
Puttle $35 .
Quin . A classic latte shape with a friendly, curly handle. Shiny cream color dipped in red, begs to be cupped with both hands.
Qwill . A good and sturdy, large mug, where our nocturnal friend lumbers in the darkness.
Rash . If you stood in the dim light of the bathroom and slopped toothpaste into a neat pile, stroke at a time, until the tube was empty.
Red Velvet . Red Velvet in that little boy's smile, layers cake and drips of jewel tones, a generous handle, a geometric bottom, a new religion that'll bring you to your knees.
Renée . Renée is like a new episode of a show you already like. Just good - nice to look at, exciting but not unexpected, just the right size.
Rhodes .
Rizzo . This is the creature from the meadow, from the tall grass on a summer evening, tail wagging and grinning, eager and waiting to hold your beer while you do that one trick.
Roast . Sliced tomatoes turned in oil, sweet peppers, a golden potato - every nightshade into the oven to scent and blacken.
Roger . Two-toned with a bold, bubble-reaction stripe down the middle, Roger is on the large end of the spectrum a cereal or salad bowl. Really fun to see how two relatively smooth glazes mix to make a sparkly slurp in the middle of him. 18 oz
Roy . Does Roy look preppy to you? Maybe it's the color scheme. But he's got a fancy lip and sad eyes so I like him. Drink with caution, he's a wrinkly boy.
Rreh . Rreh-rreh-RREH-RREHCCOON! This one is another raccoon I think. I think so? Could be a sloth. Sorry, I'm just so sneezy today.
Rufus . A mug to practice kissing. Or chatting. Or sitting in silence, even though you both have mouths.
Ruin . Can be used as a monocle, can't be used as a knife.
Ruth . A sweet, round-faced grandmother of forgotten favorite, content to hold, be held, to behold.
Sacha . Petite Sacha has a dark clay base with brilliant purple ripples downstairs and a mossiness of earth tones upstairs.
Safety . Nice mossy color, solid handle, but something is for sure trying to escape from this mug.
Sagan . This little cup gives me the feeling that there's a lot to know, and the more I know, the more there will be to know.
Sally .
Saltine . Hide in the weeds along the salt flats. Bring a book. Feels safe.
Salty .
Sam . Sam is a good mug. He is pale with freckles and his favorite color is blue. Bit of a waxy feel, cinnamon-roll bottom, the most trustworthy handle shape.
Samson . Samson is a lovely round vessel of grass with black crystals that grow in between the blades and dribble down his chin if it's too early in the morning.
Sandy . Sandy is the designs you carve in the beach with your toe, digging in to find the darker, finer sediment.
Sarafina . If you could drink the northern lights, you might drink them out of this cup.
Satchel . Satchel can bee worn as a backpack if you are a kitten or kitten-sized and don't mind the rigidity. Better to use him as a mug with holding options. He has a white satin finish and red raspberry drips. His straps of handle tug at the rim a bit.
Saul . Saul is quiet and dependable as an antique radiator, white paint worn but not gone. Hot enough to dry your hat and mittens on.
SB . Sorry, brother. Sink's broken. Southern broccoli. Salty beak. Simple bones. Seems bad.
Scape . Scape is an early mug, a learning mug. When I tried to make the handle blue and the mug rusty white, I learned about the magic that can happen when glazes overlap. Through another accident of glazing, she has a symmetrical burst of pattern on her front, like a butterfly or a rib cage. She's covering in little glitter spots. (She also gave me a little lens flare in this photoshoot!)
Scavengence . This sweet little mug has an idea about foraging and scheming.
Sean . Sean is a good boy who keeps his collar clean even if he is (just a little) lopsided. Handle with a thumbed groove. Happy spiral downstairs.
Sela . What can I say? She's perfect purple in a little cup you won't be able to stop touching.
Shane . Clean lines, waxy-matte finish, chill purple, just an all-around good drinking-mug.
Sharat . Well handled in more way than one, prefers wine, knows what it's like to peacefully cohabitate without entanglement.
Sharps . Ringed with a fractal, with a heartbeat, with growing moss. It's freckles and a gaze at the horizon. Whatever it is, it's alive and it's sharp.
Shed . Shed is a economical, utility cup. But there is beauty in utility - see the patterns formed by the iron oxidizing?
Shen . Shen is a smooth summer wine cup that dreams of winter. He decided not to have a handle. He decided not to be round. He has a few spots, but no bothers.
Shrimpo . This shy lil guy has a gentle curve, tiger's eye-green body, and accommodating handle. He'll hold a small amount of liquid for you no problem.
Shrub . He's just a little freckly dude, who may or may not be related to a kiwi, and he'll do you right.
Shugs . Especially when warm, she holds like a freshly boiled egg. And it's okay that the yolk has turned a little green like that. Sure, we'd all prefer sunshine yellow, but she's still a good egg.
Sid . Sid is smooth matte black on the outside, dramatic ice-blue starburst on the inside. A perfect little handful for a small cup of tea. It is true that Sid and Wiggles are twins, but not identical twins.
Sift . Tap, tap; like a pet that shivers off debris before settling, finds the median of a rush job and a good job, reminds you there's still time to sit.
Sily . Blushing snow person with a secret smile. Sily is beauty and mischief.
Skin . Don't let her fool you. Skin does her best to be a proper little cup, but her wallpaper bubbles and peels at the corners (it's an affect - for art! - but the mug is sound).
Skirt . Skirt pulled her sweater down so her bare legs wouldn't have to touch the hot car seat, and it imprinted on her winter skin.
Skunkee .
Skye . Skye is secret blue with a bold sash decorated to remind you of why things live in the sky.
Slippers . You've seen these feet - the ones that run and hop almost unceasingly, that stretch on the ends of legs at the end of the day and then twitch by your side in the darkness.
Sloop . Appropriate for boat-drinking, as the shape is *specially engineered to turn "slurp" sounds into "sloop" sounds.
*joke |
Smokey-Ther-Pooh . Don't you know what "ther" means?
Snail . The rare six-sided snail snails slowly enough across the breakfast table to carry hot sips of coffee and tea without sloshing. This one is blushing, they're so pleased you noticed them. Come closer.
Snek . This is a nicely shaped, capacious, and inside-shimmery mug, but do be careful, the handle is a snake!
Sonny . Sonny might've been a can of beans in a past life. He's a solid yellow cylinder with delicate rusty accents and a whip of a handle that goes right inside. That handle has a fun grippy texture at its base that speaks of a dark past. But Sonny's just a mug now. Sonny can hang.
Song . This is a good one. Song dresses in glossy bright white with a two-toned scarf of fire and ice. She has an admirable shape and a wide handle that keeps your fingies safe from the heat.
Souther . Souther is romantic in the classic sense, a nice small handful, and if mahogany is your shade, you can even drink while wearing lipstick.
Spare Parts . This is two candle holders.
Sparkle Sparkle . Cheers with this ruby sparkle boy and your wish to return to an ideal of home will be granted, Voluminous but not vacuous.
Squee . Squee is a friendly little mouse pitcher that will hold a lot of milk! Tug on his sweet little ears. Caress his twirly tail! I was trying to make a globe when I threw him, but partway through the process he leapt off the wheel and into my arms and declared himself done! Precocious lil guy.
Stan . Good ol' Stan. Large but unassuming. Will lend an ear.
Stana . Stana makes up for her blinding, white pristine-ness with her funky asymmetry. Pobody's nerfect, and she takes that as a mission.
Storey . This mug is like 15 stories but only holds 12 ounces. Hoping the sparkly insides make up for it (it's my favorite).
Sterling . For small times when the coffee is so good it's worth getting up for another tiniest cuppa
Strollwork . When you walk around the edges, tucking in seeds and stones to complete a piece of earth.
Sven . Sven is PINT GLASS. Fill him with ale, climb a mountaintop, empty him into the sky. See where he might have been a mug, but the handle disengaged before he was finished? Perfect little thumb spot. Sven knew better.
SweetieMug . Little cutie has a slight pot-belly and cool green glazing. I didn't know what she'd be, but she must have bumped into a vessel of a different color as she dried, leaving a heart-shaped mark. Felt meant-to-be, so I leaned into it rather than try to polish it away.
Swell . Ample pal painted with pink clouds and curiosity. Push your fingers into my finger marks and see if you're me from the future.
Sylvester . Syl is a sweet little side-bowl, perfect for a handful of cherry tomatoes, or to present your homemade hummus at a gathering (if only you had friends). Metalic-y inside, lovely aquamarine situation on the outside. 6 oz
Sylvia . Tragedy of slouchy pastoral layers. Careful sipping, she's got twists and turns.
Sylvie . Sylvie was always the instigator. See how she curls her lip as she scans the room for her brother, Bruno, a clear intention to cause trouble.
Syrup . The ideal cup for dragging your finger across idly as you imagine what peninsulas these drips most resemble.
